Last night saw pianist, bandleader, singer, composer, television presenter and music aficionado Jools Holland take to the stage at Boisdale of Canary Wharf to present The Boisdale Music Awards, a celebration of some of the greatest entertainers in the world of jazz, blues and soul.
The night was launched with a brilliant performance by Ferne McCann whilst winners treated guests to a unique impromptu recital accompanied by fantastic food and drink – including Taittinger champagne on arrival, followed by an opulent three-course meal featuring, amongst others, Boisdale signature dishes of Mini roast Blackface haggis, Carpaccio of Scottish wild venison, roast fillet of dry aged Aberdeenshire and fillet of Highland salmon.
