A magnificent selection of mystery Habanos Robustos will be tasted blind and scored over seven heats on the Cigar Terrace at Boisdale of Canary Wharf on Wed 30/4, Wed 28/5, Wed 25/6, Wed 30/7, Wed 27/8, and 24/9, with the Grand Finale of The Boisdale UK Cuban Robusto Championship on Wed 29/10.
Judges will be sat on one long table on the Members Cigar Terrace. There will be table service for drinks from the bar. After all competition sheets have been handed in, there will be the big reveal on which Habanos Cigars have been tasted on the evening.

On Monday 2nd December, cigar aficionados from around the world gathered to celebrate the most prestigious Cigar Awards event outside Havana. Celebrating iconic cigars, producers, writers, terraces and smokers. Guests witnessed the great and good of the cigar world breaking bread with Hollywood royalty, global pop stars, writers, business leaders, politicians and the London commentariat including Piers Morgan, Ray Winstone, Paul Oakenfold, Niall Keating, Kelsey Grammer, Tamer Hassan, Omar Lye-Fook, Viscount Hereford, Cuban Ambassador Her Excellency Bárbara Montalvo Álvarez, James Cosmo, Jack Churchill and Lord Carnarvon enjoyed the evening at Boisdale of Canary Wharf which Tom Parker Bowles hosted.

The sold-out black-tie event included a welcome drinks reception, a delicious three-course dinner with entertainment from and Susan Black performing the Edith Piaf show.

Boisdale concluded their online charity auction on the evening raising a total of £55,000. 100% of proceeds will go to several charities including The International Churchill Society Sovereign Art Foundation and Lord of The Isles Galley Charitable Trust.

On September 18th, 2024, Boisdale Canary Wharf hosted the 12th annual Boisdale Music Awards, a spectacular celebration of music legends across soul, jazz, blues, rock, reggae, and pop. The evening was co-hosted by Boisdale’s Patron of Music, Jools Holland, alongside musician and broadcaster, YolanDa Brown, adding a vibrant touch to this iconic event.

The highlight of the night included Music Icon of the Century Kathy Sledge, who brought the entire team on stage for an unforgettable rendition of "We Are Family," filling the venue with excitement. Another standout moment was the Boogie Woogie Artist of the Year performance, where Tom Seals, joined by fellow nominees, delivered a unique six-handed piano performance that left the audience in awe.

The Boisdale Music Awards once again proved to be an extraordinary night, bringing together legendary artists and emerging talents. With live performances and high-energy moments, this year’s event set a high bar for what’s to come in 2025.

In July 2023, we published the 22nd edition of Boisdale Life Magazine and the Editors Lunch & Awards was a celebration of independent and creative journalism, and saw the presentation of the much-coveted Boisdale Life Awards for 2023! This years event was again hosted by the wonderful William Sitwell and Georgia Toffolo, and attendees at the lunch included journalists, politicians, economists and some of the UK’s most influential Diary writers.

For homesick Scots and curious Sassenachs who can’t get north of the border for Burns Night, there’s only one place to celebrate 235th anniversary of Robbie Burns and that is at Boisdale, Scotland’s unofficial embassy in London. The evening included a Highland piper and an address to the haggis from actor James Cosmo.

On Tuesday 18 October 2022 Charlene White and Jay Blades took to the Boisdale of Canary Wharf stage to host the first annual London Chamber of Commerce Black Excellence Awards 2022, to celebrate the inspirational contribution of the British black community to the cultural and economic development of the United Kingdom.

Jools Holland, Boisdale’s Patron of Music is one of the most popular and enduring television personalities of all time. Alongside Jazz, one of his passions is Boogie Woogie piano and this unique event sees Jools and some of the world’s greatest pianists take to the stage – with not one, but three Yamaha grand pianos at their fingertips. Needless to say this is the most extraordinary Boogie Woogie show on earth!
